Hey, I’m Tammi

I love the Word, and I love people. Most days, that’s the whole job description.
I went to seminary because I wanted to get it right. I wanted to know what the text says, what it meant then, and what it asks of us now. I’m still learning. But I don’t preach anything I haven’t studied and wrestled with first.
Gerald and I co-pastor Breathe Church in the Atlanta area. We’ve been married more than 27 years, so I know a few things about grace, patience, and forgiving someone before your coffee kicks in. Before ministry, I wrote songs for a living. I still think in hooks. If a sermon doesn’t have one, I keep working.
